Irina Tseitlin
Irina Tseitlin’s performances are highly acclaimed by critics and colleagues. “Irina Tseitlin has unique vision of music.” said Mstislav Rostropovich. “…Full of Passion and Truth” wrote the London Times about her performance of Elgar’s concerto with BBC Symphony. “Sound of rare beauty” wrote the Los Angeles Times.
Ms. Tseitlin studied with Yuri Yankelevich at the Moscow Conservatory. After winning top prizes in Queen Elizabeth, Montreal, and Munich international competitions, she launched into a successful solo career. Her performances include solo engagements with the Munich Radio Orchestra with Rafael Kubelik, the Los Angeles Philharmonic with Pinchas Zukerman, Moscow Soloists with Yuri Bashmet, the Montreal Symphony with Charles Dutoit, and the BBC Symphony to name a few.
Highly acclaimed by critics and enthusiastic audiences, her performance tours resulted in multiple recording contracts with Deutsche Grammophon, Polydor, Duchesne, and CAMUS labels. Ms. Tseitlin’s CD of Alfred Schnittke’s music was awarded the Grand Prix by Amsterdam MIDI. She is also a champion of the realm of contemporary music. More than 20 new works for the violin have been dedicated to her.

Irina collaborates with her husband Michael in the Art with a View™ multimedia projects which includes original compositions, paintings, books, DVDs and CDs.
